Baby's Gender

Since early pregnancy, i've been consulting a gynae in JB, lets just call him Speedy Gonzales.
Yeah, he likes to do everything super fast and kalang kabut-ly..
After every USG session, he will say ,"Anymore question? ok,see you next month then."
before we can say anything..

Anyway, Speedy Gonzales confirmed i'm expecting a baby boy ever since my 17 weeks scan. Actually he confirmed it 4 times.. at 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th months scan.
*i missed the 7th month check up*

LexDad asked if there's any possibility that the scan might turn out wrong or baby might not be a boy?
Speedy Gonzales gave LexDad a steely stare and said,"There's NO WAY the baby will turn into a girl anymore."

Ok, so i guess we can start shopping for baby boy's clothing and barang...or so we thought.


Last week my mother went to consult a deity. Deity said i will give birth at 20+ march to a baby girl.
[my EDD is 17 march btw]

Not satisfied with the result, mother's friend introduced a paranormal to her.
This time paranormal said i will give birth in early march..
but no mention what so ever about baby's gender.

Mother came to visit us excitedly with the news, telling me i might deliver early and to get my hospital bag ready etc..
making me more blur.
Don't get me wrong, having a girl or a boy is equally fine to us..



but then..wah lao weh, this kind of thing also can play play one ar?



This morning, over breakfast :

LexDad : Darling, last night i dreamt you gave birth to a baby girl...
LexMum : whoa.. i dreamt of the same thing last night! how come ar?

LexDad : dunno.. probably we should start thinking of baby girl names for back up?
LexMum : yeah, then dress our girl in boy's baju... very nice hor.



Anyway, like Leona Lim said..the baby will let me know when he/she gonna make the grand entrance..

But we'll see whether Speedy Gonzales, "late baby girl" deity or the paranormal is right.

37 weeks pregnant

My due date is in 18 days time...
I know its still more than 2 weeks away, but why am i still having this nagging feeling = "omg..the baby's still not coming out yet?"

I feel like i've been pregnant forever.

So far, no swollen ankles yet...
does it mean the baby is not coming anytime soon?
